December 18 (SeeNews) - Romania's annual inflation rate was the highest in the European Union for a tenth straight month in November, data by the bloc's statistical office showed on Wednesday.
Romania's annual inflation rate rose to 3.8% in November, from 3.2% in October, Eurostat said in a monthly inflation report.
Among the other EU member states in Southeast Europe, Bulgaria and Slovenia had annual inflation rates of 2.2% and 1.4%, respectively - above the EU average of 1.3%.
Inflation in Croatia and Greece was below the EU average - at 0.8% and 0.5%, respectively.
