November 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales rose 7.8% year-on-year in September, after growing by 8.4% in August, data from the country's statistical office, INS, showed on Monday.
All main industrial groups sales posted annual growth in September, INS said in a press release.
Sales of capital goods grew by 10.2%, of energy by 23.4%, of durable goods by 1.9%, of non‐durable goods by 3% and of intermediate goods by 5.4%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's industrial sales were up by 8.1%, following a drop of 8.5% in August. In September, sales of capital goods grew by a monthly 26.3%, of durable goods by 5%, and of intermediate goods by 12.8% and of energy by 3.5%. Sales of energy were flat month -on-month, while those of non‐durable goods fell by 4.7%.
In 2017, Romania's industrial sales rose by an annual 11.7%.
