December 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales rose by 3.3% year-on-year in October, after rising by 5.2% in September, data from the country's statistical office, INS, showed on Thursday.
Sales of intermediate goods rose by 4.8% in the year in October, while capital goods sales grew by an annual 11%, INS said in a press release.
Sales of durable goods rose by 13.9%, while sales non‐durable goods edged up by 4.6% in October this year compared to October 2018. Sales of energy rose by an annual 1.7% in October.
During January-October, industrial sales were 5.5% higher on the year.
In 2018, Romania's industrial sales rose by an annual 11.8%.
