July 4 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial producer prices grew by 3.3% on the year in May on the back of a strong rise of prices in manufacturing and mining, the statistical office, INS, said on Tuesday.
In April industrial producer prices increased by 3.8%.
On a monthly comparison basis, industrial producer prices edged down by 0.1% in May, the same as in the previous month, INS said citing provisional figures.
On the domestic market, industrial output prices increased by 2.7% in May year-on-year, while prices on the external market rose by 4.6%.
