March 2 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial producer prices grew by 2.6% on the year in January due to a strong increase in mining and utilities, after posting 0.9% annual growth in December, the statistics office, INS, said on Thursday.
On a month-to-month comparison basis, industrial producer prices rose by 1%, after increasing by 0.8% in December, the INS said citing provisional figures.
On the domestic market, industrial output prices increased by 2.2% in January, year-on-year, while on the external market they rose 3.5%.
