October 13 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial production increased by an adjusted 13.1% year-on-year during the first eight months of the year, the national statistical office, INS, said on Wednesday.
On a non-adjusted comparison basis, industrial output rose by an annual 12.7% in January-August, INS said.
In August alone, industrial production edged up by an adjusted 0.5% on the year and was flat on the month.
