March 13 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial production increased 5.8% year-on-year in January, following a 3.6% rise a month earlier, the national statistical office, INS, said on Monday.
On a seasonally- and working day-adjusted comparison basis, industrial output growth accelerated to 5.5% on the year in January, from 3.9% in December.
Based on seasonally-and working-day adjusted figures, industrial output decreased 0.5% month-on-month in January.
