BUCHAREST (Romania), July 17 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 33.5% year-on-year to 60,068 during the first six months of 2018, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Tuesday.
In June alone, new passenger car registrations in Romania rose 52.4% to 12,241 units, ACEA said in a statement.

Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU increased by 16.2% year-on-year, reaching 282,233 units in the period January-June. Dacia's market share increased to 3.3% in the first six months of the year compared to 3% in the same period of 2017.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by 2.9% year-on-year in January-June, reaching 8.44 million.
New passenger car registrations in Romania climbed 10.7% on the year to 105,083 in 2017.
