January 20 (SeeNews) - Romania's government said it allocated 113.25 million lei ($24.9 million/22.9 million euro) in funding for the construction of a sports hall in the city of Turda, in the northwest of the country.
The sport hall will have a built-up area of 5,460 sq m, the government said in a statement after a meeting on Wednesday.
The construction works should be completed in eleven months.
Financing will be provided from the state budget, the local budget of the Turda municipality and other sources.
