March 16 (SeeNews) - Romania's foreign debt decreased to 93.30 billion euro ($115 billion) at the end of January from 93.95 billion euro at the end of 2017, the central bank, BNR, said on Friday.
The end-January figure includes 67.68 billion euro in long-term foreign debt, down from 68.75 billion euro at the end of 2017, BNR said in a monthly balance of payments report.
Long-term external debt service ratio fell to 13.8% in January, compared to 20.4% at end-2017.
The ratio of the BNR’s foreign exchange reserves to short-term external debt by remaining maturity decreased to 83.5% at end-January, from 86.4% at end-2017.
