May 19 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] said that it repurchased a total of 5,600,389 own shares and equivalent shares of global depositary receipts (GDRs) in the May 11-15 period.
Fondul Proprietatea bought back 5,303,989 own shares for 6.2 million lei ($1.4 million/1.3 million euro) and 296,40 equivalent shares of GDRs for some 343,000 lei, the company said in a bourse filing on Monday.
The number of shares left to be repurchased within the eleventh buyback programme is 478,821,078.
As at 13:45 CET on Tuesday, Fondul Proprietatea shares traded at 1.19 lei, unchanged from their previous closing price on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
