April 29 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] said that it repurchased a total of 9,136,132 own shares and equivalent shares of global depositary receipts (GDRs) in the April 21-24 period.
Fondul Proprietatea bought back 8,460,932 own shares for 9.6 million lei ($2.2 million/2 million euro) and 675,200 equivalent shares of GDRs for some 752,000 lei, Fondul Proprietatea said in a bourse filing on Monday.
The number of shares left to be repurchased within the eleventh buyback programme is 498,563,002.
As at 14:45 CET on Wednesday, Fondul Proprietatea shares traded at 1.65 lei, unchanged from their previous closing price on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
