BUCHAREST (Romania), March 31 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] said that it has repurchased a total of 30,348,622 own shares and equivalent shares of global depositary receipts (GDRs) in the March 23-27 period of 2020.

Fondul Proprietatea bought back 22,138,172 own shares for 24.5 million lei ($5.6 million/5.1 million euro) and 8,210,450 equivalent shares of GDRs for 8.7 million lei, Fondul Proprietatea said in a bourse filing on Monday.

The number of shares left to be repurchased within the eleventh buyback programme is 569,651,378 million.

As at 13:00 CET on Tuesday, Fondul Proprietatea shares traded 1.84% higher at 1.105 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
