April 5 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] said that it has received non-binding offers for its 49% stake in majority state-owned salt producer Salrom, after holding meetings with potential investors.
Fondul Proprietatea has assigned a book value of 250 million lei ($59.1 million/52.6 million euro) to its shareholding interest in Salrom as at the end of 2018, the fund said in a statement earlier this week.

Salrom is expected to post record profitability for 2018, according to Fondul Proprietatea.
In the first nine months of 2018, Salrom made a net profit of 61.9 million lei on operating revenue of 279.3 million lei, Fondul Proprietatea data shows.
Fondul Proprietatea received 42.3 million lei in dividends from Salrom.
The investment in Salrom formed 2.4% of Fondul Proprietatea total portfolio in terms of net asset value.
Fondul Proprietatea is also continuing discussions with the government about the potential listing of Salrom on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
