October 29 (SeeNews) - Romanian property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] said that it has repurchased a total of 3,822,644 own shares and equivalent shares of GDRs in the period October 21-25.
The total value of the transactions in the review period was 4.5 million lei ($1.0 million/946,000 euro), Fondul Proprietatea said in a bourse filing on Monday.
Since the start of the company's tenth share repurchase programme, Fondul Proprietatea has bought back a total of 375,360,225 own shares and equivalent shares of GDRs, for a total of some 405.4 million lei.
The number of shares left to be repurchased within the tenth buyback programme is 374,639,775.
As at 14:00 CET on Tuesday, Fondul Proprietatea shares traded 0.42% lower at 1.175 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
