April 4 (SeeNews) - The Romanian city of Craiova has opened a tender for the procurement of buses, using the proceeds of a loan extended by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the lender said on Thursday.
Craiova, in southern Romania, seeks to buy 35 low floor EURO 6 diesel buses class C and related goods and services, the EBRD said in a tender notice.
The city authorities intend to use part of the proceeds of a 15 million euro ($16.8 million) loan extended by the EBRD to finance the purchase.
Tendering is open to firms from any country and ends on May 20.
The contract is expected to start on July 1 and last about 33 months.
