October 13 (SeeNews) - Romania's construction output fell 4.8% on the year in August, following a 6.2% drop in July, the country's statistical office, INS, said on Friday, citing working-day adjusted data.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly comparison basis, construction output decreased by 0.3% in August, INS said in a statement.
On a non-adjusted basis, Romania's August construction output fell by 0.1% on the month and was 0.5% lower on the year.
In the first eight months of the year, Romania's construction output fell 7.7%, INS data showed.
