January 25 (SeeNews) - Romanian crude oil transporter Conpet [BSE:COTE] said on Wednesday that it has concluded a deal worth an estimated 50.3 million lei ($11.2 million/10.3 million euro) with local oil and gas company OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] for the transportation of crude oil, rich gas and condensate.
The deal is an addendum to a previously signed contract and envisages the delivery of oil and gas from receiving sites to delivery sites between January 16 and February 28, Conpet said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Austria's OMV Aktiengesellschaft holds a 51.157% stake in OMV Petrom. The Romanian energy ministry owns 20.698% and 28.145% is in free float on the stock exchanges in Bucharest and London.
Romania’s energy ministry is a majority shareholder of Conpet, with a 58.716% stake in the company, while the remaining shares are in free float on the Bucharest bourse.
OMV Petrom shares traded 0.11% lower at 0.447 lei as at 1525 CET on Wednesday on the Bucharest stock exchange.
Conpet shares traded 0.81% higher at 74.6 lei as at 1613CET on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
