BUCHAREST (Romania), March 5 (SeeNews) – Romanian railway operator CFR said on Friday it has launched two tenders worth a total 22.1 million lei ($5.4 million/ 4.5 million euro) for repairs of railway infrastructure in the counties of Sibiu and Harghita.
The tenders envisage repairs on three railroad bridges and a platform, replacement of track devices and extension of a pedestrian tunnel at the train station in Sibiu, CFR said in a press release.
The deadline for submitting offers for the repair of the three bridges is April 7, while for the modernisation of railway infrastructure in Sibiu companies can submit their offers by March 29.
The value of the two contracts are 7.8 million lei and 14.33 million lei, respectively.
Both tenders were published in Romania's electronic system for public procurement, SEAP.
