January 13 (SeeNews) - Romania current account balance showed a deficit of 9.924 billion euro ($11 billion) in the first eleven months of 2019, compared to a gap of 8.205 billion euro in the same period of last year, the central bank said on Monday, citing provisional data.
The deficit on trade in goods widened by 2.473 billion euro, the surplus on services income increased by 135 million euro, the deficit of the primary income balance narrowed by 485 million euro, and the surplus of the secondary income balance increased by 134 million euro.
Romania's current account balance showed a deficit of 9.416 billion euro in 2018, compared to a gap of 5.970 billion euro a year earlier.
