January 13 (SeeNews) - Romania recorded a current account deficit of 9.763 billion euro ($11.864 billion) in the first eleven months of 2020, compared to a 9.655 billion euro gap in the same period of last year, the central bank said on Wednesday, citing provisional data.
The deficit on trade in goods widened by 1.096 billion euro, the surplus on services income increased by 815 million euro, the primary income balance saw its deficit expand by 333 million euro, and the surplus of the secondary income balance rose by 506 million euro.
Romania's current account balance showed a deficit of 10.478 billion euro in 2019, compared to a gap of 8.960 billion euro a year earlier.
