November 6 (SeeNews) - Romania's central bank said on Tuesday it will keep its monetary policy rate unchanged at 2.50%.
The central bank, BNR, also decided to maintain the deposit facility rate at 1.50% per annum and the lending facility rate at 3.50% per annum, it said in a statement after a board meeting on monetary policy.
BNR also decided to maintain the existing levels of minimum reserve requirement ratios on both leu- and foreign currency-denominated liabilities of banks.
The central bank last changed its key rate in May, increasing it to 2.50% from 2.25%, the third rate hike this year.
