August 28 (SeeNews) - Romanian managers remained optimistic in their expectations about the performance of the country’s economy in the three months through October, the national statistics board, INS, said on Thursday.
In July, Romanian managers were also optimistic in their expectations about the economic situation in the country in the three months through September.
In the industrial sector, production is seen rising while the number of employees and prices are expected to remain flattish through September, INS said in a statement.
Managers of construction companies see output and prices almost flat through October. The number of employees is expected to remain roughly unchanged.
Managers in retail trade expect moderate rises in sales, prices and the number of employees.
The expectations of managers in the services are that demand and the number of employees will rise slightly through October. Slim increase is expected in prices.
INS interviewed the managers of 8,221 companies operating in the four sectors for its August survey.
