April 26 (SeeNews) - Romanian mobility and financing company Autonom Services said it recorded a net profit of 22.5 million lei ($4.96 million/4.55 million euro) in 2021, a 28% increase over its benchmark 2019.
The company booked consolidated revenues of 394.3 million lei last year, a 16% increase over its 2019 results, it said in a press release last week.
The operating lease division, Autonom Lease, had total revenues of 185.6 million lei in 2021, a 17% increase over 2019.
Autonom's rent-a-car division reported 68.7 million lei in revenues in 2021, up 4% compared to 2019 on the back of fleet occupancy rate of over 88%.
The used car division registered revenues of 78.7 million lei in 2021, up 71% compared to 2019.
In mid-April 2022, Autonom completed the acquisition of Tiriac Operating Lease.
At the end of 2021, Autonom raised 48 million euro ($52.4 million) in the capital market, the first stage of a corporate bond issuance programme which the company aims to run over the next five years. Autonom's ultimate goal is to raise up to 250 million euro with a view to transitioning to a green fleet.
Founded in 2006 in Piatra Neamt by entrepreneurs Marius Stefan and Dan Stefan, Autonom Services is part of Autonom International group which has over 500 employees and operates a fleet of over 9,000 cars.
