March 6 (SeeNews) - Romanian mobility and financing company Autonom Services said on Monday that it is buying 200 electric vehicles worth a total 10 million euro ($10.6 million).
The acquisition is part of the company's strategy to accelerate the electrification of its fleet and the transition to a zero emissions one, Autonom Services said in a filing with the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB.
Autonom said that the funds for the transaction came from the European Investment Bank.
Founded in 2006 in Piatra Neamt by entrepreneurs Marius Stefan and Dan Stefan, Autonom Services is part of Autonom International group which has 600 employees and operates a fleet of over 13,000 cars.
