October 3 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial producer prices grew by 4.1% on the year in August on the back of a strong rise in prices in manufacturing, mining and utilities, the statistical office, INS, said on Tuesday.
In July, industrial producer prices increased by 3% year-on-year.
On a monthly comparison basis, industrial producer prices increased by 0.7% in August, INS said, citing provisional figures.
For the domestic market, industrial output prices increased by 3.5% year-on-year in August, while prices for the external market rose by 5.4%.
