December 11 (SeeNews) - Romanian real estate developer Anchor Grup and Moldova-based construction company Leogrant will build a 50 million euro ($74 million) commercial centre in Moldova’s capital Chisinau, Anchor Grup said on Tuesday.
The construction of the commercial centre called Shopping MallDova has already started and the mall is expected to open in the autumn of 2008, Anchor Grup said in a statement. Shopping MallDova will have 25,000 square metres of lettable area.
Anchor Grup is part of Turkish group FIBA, active in the financial and retailing sectors. It has developed the commercial centres Plaza Romania and Bucuresti Mall.
Leogrant is a member of Turkish construction group Summa. It owns the Leogrand Hotel & Convention Center and the New York Entertainment Center in Chisinau.
