October 26 (SeeNews) - New commercial vehicles registrations in Romania decreased by an annual 9.7% to 15,609 in the first nine months of 2022, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) showed on Wednesday.
Light commercial vehicles dropped 17.6% on the year, to a total of 10,165 units in January-September, ACEA said in its monthly statement.

The number of heavy commercial vehicles saw an annual increase of 13.1%, to 4,734 units in the first nine months of the year.
Medium and heavy commercial vehicles increased by 10.8% year-on-year, to 4,872 units, between January and September 2022.
In the first nine months of 2022, the amount of medium and heavy buses and coaches produced saw an annual increase of 3.2%, with 572 units produced.
New commercial vehicles registrations in Romania rose 22% on the year to 22,772 in 2021.
During the first nine months of 2022, new commercial vehicle registrations in the EU fell by an annual 17.6% to 1.18 million units.
