October 14 (SeeNews) - Romania's current account deficit increased to 2.11 billion euro ($2.32 billion) in the first eight months of the year from 939 million euro for the same period of 2015, the central bank said on Friday.
The goods balance and primary income balance recorded increased shortfalls, up by 1.33 billion euro and 80 million euro, respectively, while the secondary income surplus narrowed by 268 million euro and the surplus on the services balance widened by 510 million euro.
