November 15 (SeeNews) - Romania posted the highest 12-month average inflation rate among the European Union member states in October, of 3.7%, the bloc's statistics office said on Friday.
The EU's 12-month average inflation rate was 1.7% in October, Eurostat said in a statement
The EU's annual inflation slowed to 0.9% in October from 1.3% in September, measured by harmonized indices of consumer prices (HICP).
