November 18 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Romania edged up 0.8% on the year to 97,870 in the first ten months of 2021, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Thursday.
In October only, new passenger car registrations in Romania fell 23.3% to 9,608 units, ACEA said in a statement.

Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU increased by 0.9% year-on-year in the first ten months of 2021, reaching 309,070 units. Dacia's market share remained at 3.8% in January-October, compared to the same period of last year.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by an annual 2.2% in January-October, reaching 8.19 million units.
New passenger car registrations in Romania decreased by 21.8% to 126,351 in 2020.
