BUCHAREST (Romania), November 16 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 16.9% year-on-year to 88,805 in the first ten months of 2017, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Thursday.
In October alone, new passenger car registrations in Romania increased 26.2% to 10,036 units, ACEA said in a statement.

Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU increased by 11.2% year-on-year in January-October, reaching 384,257 units. Dacia's market share increased to 3% in the first 10 months of 2017 from 2.8% in the year-ago period.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, grew by 3.9% year-on-year in the period under review, reaching 12.83 million.
New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 17% to 94,424 last year, exceeding the 2015 growth rate.
