December 24 (SeeNews) - Romanian stock indices ended in the green on Monday in lower turnover, Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) data showed.
The total equity turnover of the BVB fell to 50 million lei ($12.4 million/10.8 million euro) on Monday from 75.7 million lei on Friday.
Blue-chip lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] share price rose 11.11% to 2 lei, generating the largest trading turnover on Monday - of 25 million lei.
Oil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] gained 10.54% to 0.3095 lei in the day's second largest turnover, of 5.8 million lei.
Natural gas producer Romgaz [BSE:SNG] rose 1.96% at 28.55 lei in a trading turnover of 5.4 million lei - the third largest during the trading session.
BVB informed that the trading sessions of December 24th and 31th from this year will be shorter and will end by 1300 CET. December 25th and 26th are non-trading days on the BVB.
