October 20 (SeeNews) - Romanian stock indices ended mostly in the green on Thursday in higher turnover, bourse data indicated.
The total equity turnover of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) jumped to 78.2 million lei ($19 million /17.3 million euro) from 43 million lei on Wednesday.
In regular trading, blue-chip lender Banca Transilvania [BSE: TLV] rose 0.63% to 2.3850 lei in Thursday's largest turnover of 12.09 million lei.
Blue-chip power supplier and distributor Electrica [BSE:EL] fell 0.30% to 13.42 lei in the day's second-largest turnover of 6.79 million lei.
Blue-chip oil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE: SNP] gained 1.93% to 0.2375 lei in the day's third-largest turnover of 6.29 million lei.
On Thursday, OMV Petrom said that 373.8 million of its shares were admitted for listing on the London Stock Exchange in the form of global depositary receipts (GDRs) at a value of 0.1 lei ($0.02/0.02 euro) per share.

ROTX tracks Romania's nine most liquid stocks. It is a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange.
