July 28 (SeeNews) - Romanian stock indices fell on Thursday amid higher turnover, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, showed.
The bourse's total equity turnover rose to 37.4 million lei ($9.3 million / 8.4 million euro) from 22.3 million lei on Wednesday.
In regular trading, power distributor and supplier Electrica [BSE:EL] lost 0.46% to 13.12 lei in Thursday's largest turnover of 11.1 million lei.
Blue chip investment lender BRD - Groupe Societe Generale [BSE: BRD] fell 0.31% to 9.8 lei in the day's second-largest turnover of 5.57 million lei.
Natural gas producer Romgaz [BSE:SNG] lost 0.44% to 22.75 lei in the day's third-largest turnover of 5.41 million lei.
