March 28 (SeeNews) - Romanian e-commerce startup Videowise said that it raised 3 million dollars (2.77 million euro) in a recent seed funding round.
The round was led by Slack Fund, a venture capital fund of U.S.-based digital services company Slack, Videowise said in a press release on Monday.
With the funds, Videowise plans to develop its video commerce technology stack further for omnichannel video shopping experiences.
Other venture capital funds which took part in the seed round were FounderCollective, Underline Ventures, MuVentures, and Ratio Ventures, alongside strategic investors.
Videowise was established in 2021 by Claudiu Cioba. It is an e-commerce video platform which allows brands and retailers create
interactive and shoppable video experiences on online stores. Currently, more than 100 design and development agencies are using Videowise's platform worldwide.
