March 1 (SeeNews) - Romanian software developer Life is Hard [BSE:LIH] said that it booked a net profit of 4.5 million lei ($977,260/915,500 euro) in 2022, up 26% on the year.
The company's turnover last year grew by an annual 17% to 25 million lei, it said in a press release on Monday.
Last year, the company's operational profit dropped by 2.3% on the year to 2.38 million lei, while its EBITDA climbed by an annual 3.1% to 3.37 million lei.
The company's assets rose 10.8% on the year, amounting to 59.4 million lei at end-December.
"For Life is Hard, the current year represents the beginning of a new growth cycle," the company's CEO Catalin Chis said. "We aim for LIH's leadership in the area of digitization in insurance to be the starting point of a regional ecosystem."
Life is Hard was established in 2004 in the northwestern city of Cluj and is listed on the alternative trading system of Bucharest Stock Exchange, AeRO.
Its shares traded 1.51% higher at 2.69 lei as of 1504 CET on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
