October 17 (SeeNews) - SIF 3 Transilvania, one of Romania's five regional investment funds, said it exited on Wednesday furniture maker Lemexim, selling its 11.29% stake for 2.2 million lei ($930,000/656,000 euro).
SIF 3 Transilvania has sold the 44,929 shares it held in Lemexim, the investment fund said in a statement. Lemexim’s shares ended 1,407% higher on Wednesday on the over-the-counter market RASDAQ, at 49 lei per share.

Officials in neither of the two companies were immediately available to comment.
SIF 3 Transilvania almost tripled its first-half net profit to 91.6 million lei from 35.4 million lei a year earlier. Its shares closed 3.64% higher on Wednesday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, at 2.56 lei per share.
