October 28 (SeeNews) - All but one of the Romanian stock indices rose on Wednesday while turnover declined, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, indicated.
BVB's total turnover from transactions with shares fell to 10.5 million lei ($2.6 million/2.4 million euro) from 28.5 million lei on Tuesday. A block deal with shares of blue-chip power distributor and supplier Electrica [BSE:EL] generated a turnover of 830,200 lei on Wednesday.
Blue-chip investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] added 1.75% to 0.8120 lei in Wednesday's largest turnover in regular trading, of 4.6 million lei.
Blue-chip lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] fell 0.20% to 2.4500 lei in the second-largest turnover, of 0.82 million lei.
Blue-chip natural gas producer Romgaz [BSE:SNG] gained 0.17% to 29.3500 lei in 0.75 million lei turnover, the day's third-largest.
