August 28 (SeeNews) - The Romanian stock indices ended mixed on Thursday as equity turnover increased, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, indicated.
The bourse's total equity turnover rose to 55.4 million lei ($16.6 million/12.6 million euro) from 44.6 million lei on Wednesday.
Romanian natural gas producer Romgaz [BSE:SNG] added 0.56% to 36.14 lei in Thursday's largest turnover of 14.5 million lei.
Power distributor and supplier Electrica [BSE:EL] gained 0.53% to 11.38 lei in the second-largest turnover of 10.9 million lei.
Blue-chip power grid operator Transelectrica [BSE:TEL] edged up 0.04% to 23.14 lei in 4.5 million lei turnover, the day's third largest.
