September 24 (SeeNews) - Romanian online retailer eMAG opened its first showroom in the southern city of Buzau as part of its national expansion plan, it said.
The 220 sq m showroom is located in Shopping City Buzau and displays over 500 products, eMAG said in a press release on Thursday.
This is eMAG's 23rd showroom in Romania. The retailer also operates six showrooms located in Bulgaria and Hungary.
eMAG was founded in 2001 by Romanian entrepreneurs and later expanded in Bulgaria, Hungary and Poland.
The online retailer booked revenues of 8.93 billion lei ($2.2 billion/1.8 billion euro) in 2020.
