November 15 (SeeNews) - Digi Communications [BSE: DIGI], majority owner of Romanian company RCS&RDS, said on Tuesday its revenue rose 20% on the year to 1.16 billion euro ($1.2 billion) in the first nine months of 2022.
Romania contributed 742 million euro to the company's overall revenues during the January-September period, followed by Spain with 357 million euro, Digi said in a preliminary financial statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB.
Revenue growth in Romania was the result of an increase of mobile, fixed internet and data and cable TV revenue generating units, Digi added.
In the third quarter alone, Digi Communications' revenue rose by an annual 19% to 385 million euro.

In January, Digi Communication said it completed the sale of its operations in Hungary to Hungarian IT and ICT solutions provider 4iG for 625 million euro.
