September 14 (SeeNews) - The Romanian railway workers trade union federation, NFCRM, said that it will organise a warning strike on Friday which may affect all railway traffic between 0600 - 0800 CET.
The main reasons for the protest are the lack of collective labour contracts, low salaries, and the lack of investments in infrastructure, NFCRM said in a press release on Wednesday.
However, the Romanian railway passenger carrier, CFR Calatori, said in a press release on Thursday that its employees will not partake in the strike. Passengers on trains affected by the strike can exercise their rights for a refund, it added.
