November 29 (SeeNews) - Consultancy group REI said on Tuesday that Romanian windows and doors manufacturer Casa Noastra, owner of the QFort brand, is investing in a new production unit worth 20 million euro ($21 million) near the southern city of Craiova, Dolj county.
The project benefits from 9 million euro in non-reimbursable state aid, REI Group, which acted as financial advisor to the company, said in a press release.
The new unit will create more than 200 jobs.
It will help the company better position its output locally and in foreign markets such as Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium or Spain, Casa Noastra owner Stefan Cherciu was quoted as saying.
Casa Noastra was established in 1995. In 2009, the company launched the QFort brand.
