November 17 (SeeNews) - Romanian software solutions and cloud services provider Bento [BSE:BENTO] said that its net profit edged down by an annual 3% to 3.5 million lei ($734,677/710,415 euro) in the first nine months of 2022.
Total revenues amounted to 19.2 million lei in January-September, inching up by 1% on the year, Bento said in a financial report filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Wednesday.
"We are proud to report an increase compared to the same period last year in the most important operational indicators that we follow, registering an increase in the turnover of both the Software Development division and IT, Infrastructure, and Cloud projects,” Radu Scarlat, Chairman of the Bento Board of Directors stated in a press release on Thursday.
Expenses grew by 4% year-on-year, reaching 15.4 million by the end of September 2022. Materials costs decreased by an annual 76% to 1.5 million lei, while personnel costs were up by 37%, reaching 5.7 million lei. Other operating costs jumped by an annual 80% during January-September to 8.1 million lei.
Bento started trading on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange in March and currently has a market capitalisation of 50.7 million lei.
Bento was founded in 2004 under the name 2B Intelligent Soft and booked a 4.5 million lei net profit in 2021.
Bento shares traded 6.77% lower at 3.58 lei on the BVB as of 1543 CET on Thursday.
