October 24 (SeeNews) - Romanian insulated wire and cable maker Iproeb on Wednesday reported net profit of 22.1 million lei ($9.3 million/6.6 million euro) through September, up 85.7% on the year.
Company officials were not immediately available to comment.
The company’s revenue in the first nine months rose by 29.71% year-on-year, while costs increased by 21.25%, the company said in a statement.

Iproeb's shares closed down 0.58% at 8.6 lei on Wednesday on RASDAQ.
The company is owned by a large number of minority shareholders with Bucharest-based Electromontaj the largest single shareholder with a 30.66% stake, RASDAQ data showed.
