CHISINAU (Moldova), November 20 (SeeNews) – Moldovan bank BCR Chisinau, a subsidiary of Romania's largest bank Banca Comerciala Romana, has raised its share capital to 186 million lei ($16.8 million/11.3 million euro) through a 56 million lei share issue, the country’s securities commission, CNVM, said on Friday.
The bank will issue 5,600 new shares at a price equal to their par value of 10,000 lei each, CNVM said in a statement.
The Romanian bank opened its subsidiary in the Moldovan capital in 1998.
BCR Chisinau swung to a 120.7 million lei loss in the first nine months this year from 52 million lei net profit a year earlier.
