September 13 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of Romania's commercial banks jumped 46% in the seven months through July to 114.66 billion lei ($48.1 billion/34.6 billion euro), central bank (BNR) data showed on Thursday.
The banks' deposit portfolio rose to 103.82 billion lei at the end of July from 81.81 billion a year earlier, according to the BNR's monthly statistics.

The banking system's assets totalled 200.8 billion lei at end-July.
