September 26 (SeeNews) - Romania's privatisation agency AVAS said on Wednesday it has sold the industrial platform of synthetic fibre manufacturer Terom to plastics manufacturer Romcarbon Buzau for 36.1 million lei ($15.1 million/ 10.7 million euro).
AVAS has also sold at the same auction land plots and other Terom assets to Romanian company International Import Export Comp for 4.3 million lei, the agency said in a statement.

That was AVAS' third attempt to sell Terom's assets after the previous auction held on September 5 failed to attract buyers. Terom has an outstanding debt of 70.7 million lei.
