January 12 (SeeNews) - Romania sold on Thursday a total 1.385 billion lei ($302 million/280.6 million euro ) worth of treasury bonds maturing in 2030 and 2034, above a cumulative 1 billion lei target, central bank data showed.
The finance ministry sold 636.5 million lei worth of Treasury bonds maturing on April 29, 2030, central bank data showed.
The average accepted yield was 7.43%. The issue will be reopened on Monday, when the finance ministry hopes to raise 75 million lei in a non-competitive tender.
Also on Thursday, Romania sold 748.8 million lei worth of treasury bonds maturing on October 11, 2023.
The average accepted yield was 7.56%. The issue will also be reopened on Monday, when the finance ministry expects to raise an additional 75 million lei in a non-competitive offer.

Romania’s finance ministry intended to sell 5.35 billion lei worth of government securities in January, including 645 million lei in non-competitive offers.
So far this year, Romania has sold 6.847 billion lei.
